Every night for the past week my phone start beeping at midnight and will not stop until noon; 12 hours of continuous beeping.
I resorted to putting it on silent and then yesterday I got fed up and did a factory reset.
Did it work? No!
30 notification beeps in a row - a few seconds pause -...
Whilst charging and playing games it always gets very warm.
I've use other phones that heat up - the S2 and the S3 - but they would only do so sometimes. The Nexus 4 seems to do it consistently.
I was wondering if N4 owners would be so kind as to post (or link to) pictures they've taken with the camera. It would primarily be to help us non-owners appreciate the quality of it.
Had the Nexus 4 been in stock I would very likely have snapped one up by now. But the longer it remains out of stock (UK), the more I'm disinclined towards it.
I have 2 reasons. Firstly, while none of the well-known compromises (no micro-sd, LTE etc.) bother me too much I am concerned about...
Jelly Bean is available for Vodafone customers in the UK but not for Orange yet. Can I update to JB using a Vodafone sim and then use an Orange sim in it? The phone is unlocked.
Great phone but I'm surprised by the amount of lag when swiping across the screen. There's a small but very noticeable delay between swiping and the phone performing the required operation which could be anything from swiping through homescreens and menus or playing Temple Run. Even my rooted...
I was trying to do a few updates from the Play Store and ran into this message.
Quick System Info shows that I've run out of A2SD+ space but I've got tons of internal memory available thanks to DGB.
Should I just shift apps from the Ext partition to internal memory or should I increase the...
The reason I ask is because I'm still using the old Market (2.3.3) as the newer one was simply too sluggish on my Desire.
Have they fixed that issue with Google Play or is it nothing more than a rebranding?
I was stuck in a boot loop for some reason so I did a few nandroid restores, wipes, reflashing the rom etc. and now I get this message in Amon-ra if I try to do anything:
E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 (or /dev/block/mmcblk0)
(No such file or directory)
E:Can't mount /sdcard
I'm about to...
Can you help me work out what's killing my battery, please?
I only have this problem when using Redux2 combined with ManU kernel. Something's keeping my phone awake and I'm down to 50% in 3 hours.
But the thing is, I don't have any problem with Redux2 + stock Thalamus kernel or dGb + ManU...
I've bought an 8Gb sd card to replace my current 4Gb one which has a 1Gb Ext3 partition on it.
What steps should I follow to transfer the contents, including the stuff on the ext partition, over to the new card?
My Titanium Backup folder weighs in at about 380mb with 154 apps. It seems way too big.
I've got backup history set to 1, deleted backups for uninstalled apps and trimmed backups where the history is > 1. That only saved me about 40mb. It feels like I'm missing something.
