Thank you cwcheese. That auto-rotate setting is hidden under two layers. Finally found clear and correct directions on how to find it and turned it off by changing it to "portrait". Looks like it's working now but I'll wait a day or two before conclusively noting this as "solved"
Possible - but not the hoops that people, or at least me, are willing to have to bother going through. Including a 24-hour wait for anything to be 'unlocked'.
I've already gotten a warning on the Bubble app that it will stop working. I dislike google and have avoided using their specific app/programs (e.g. google search). I'm wondering what people will do now? I have to replace my cell phone as it has problems and I'm for the first time considering...
Thanks Fox Mulder. That's about the conclusion I've come to. I'll be looking at a new phone. But after what google is doing to block F-Droid apps - I've already got the warning on one of them that it will stop working - I'm considering switching to Iphone as the Android open system advantage is...
Yes I've rebooted numerous times. It seems to happen with whatever I'm displaying - e.g. Settings, Contacts, Phone, Firefox. But does not happen on Home Screen. Once it rotates it does not quickly go back to normal display when I turn my hand. Most times I have to literally shake the phone a...
Samsung Galaxy J2 phone now rotates the screen to landscape whenever I just turn slightly my hand. This started recently and did not do this in the past. Settings -> Home Screen -> Rotate to Landscape Mode is OFF. Anyone know how to stop this?
I need to save a Galaxy voicemail message. Is there a way to directly download a voicemail message to save it on my computer? If there isn't, how do I forward the message to my landline voicemail, from which I know how to download and save messages to my computer?
When I get an email notification icon on my Galaxy J2, selecting it says its video voicemail which I don't want. How do I change that to audio voicemail? Phone > Settings > Voicemail does NOT have a video voicemail setting to turn off. The only thing in >Voicemail Settings is the cell phone number.
Thank you for the picture but I don't want to clear all the tabs. And I don't know which data it would clear. I just want to delete selected cookies and perhaps selected tabs. I don't want a shotgun approach to delete everything..
I'm having a problem for the past two days that I can't answer most calls to my cell phone. It shows a call coming in and it rings but pressing "answer" does nothing, no matter how many times I keep pressing it. Once in a while I can answer a call but most times I can't. Anyone have an idea of...
How can I delete selected cookies on Android Duck Duck and Firefox without deleting browsing history? Going into SETTINGS I don't see any separate setting just for cookies. If I select deleting it warns me it wil delete data.
Thank you for you reply but now I must ask what & where is "the build location"? I found
Settings ->Developer Options -> System Tracing but "Record Trace" is already set off. The question is how did it start running? I selected "Clear Saved Traces" but it did not confirm what if anything was...
