How do you get the different lock screen?

I get an error when I try to update the radio. "update radio ignoring attempt to do multiple firmware updates" I don't know what I did wrong. I put PB13IMG.ZIP on sd card, it installed. Then DINC_OTA and renamed to update applied that. REBOOTED checked settings and its still not updated.

If I get this phone at retail will it work on Alltel. I kinda like our htc hero, but I like the size of this phone. Alltel is CDMA just like verizon. I want to stay with Alltel b/c I know more people with alltel and cheaper plan. Thanks, :)
