Help Battery life bad, extended battery?

Thinking about getting the extended battery for my new htc incredible. Just wondering how long the battery lasts when you use the phone. Not just standby?

Mine goes about two full days with moderate/heavy data/device use - texting, browser, apps, camera, and exchange email/gmail/facebook/twitter sync. I only make one or two calls a day on average though, so it may last less if you make a lot of calls.

I have the verizon ext. battery and I can get atleast a day and a half with pretty good usage (music, games, some apps syncing, lots of texting and gtalk).

That was compared to the 8-10 hours I could squeeze out of my stock battery. =\

Stock battery gets me 24+ hours.

I do mostly texting, maybe 2 calls a day, wi-fi enabled and syncing 2 email accounts, gps off and I probably have to charge it every 2 days.
My only complaint with the Incredible is the battery life seems to be less than good.

Would turning off the wifi help with battery life, SIGNIFICANTLY?
