Im about to flash a new Rom and want to have a clean out. Can I format the internal and external memory. Will the phone still boot as then I can connect to my PC copy the Rom zip file over and then flash through CWM. Just want to check before I do something stupid. :o

I have gingervillian 1.6 and new google music app. I turned on sync and its been running for over 18 hrs. I did sync ages ago but its was only 20 songs at the most. I since deleted them and only have 1 song on my phone. Not much data is bding used but what is its doing?
