Rooting Kernel

I was looking at rooting and it says I need a version of the kernel thats on my phone.

Using this guide

I looked and none of them match my kernel

2.6.35.7-I9100XWKI8-CL616395 root@DELL149 #2

Any ideas.

I did root my Desire a few years ago but only once and cannt remember how i did it.

Flashing ROMs I find easy though.
