https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/m...t-charging-wall-charger-white-ep-ta845xwegus/. You’ll need Sammys own charger (for now—3rd party chargers will crop up also) and a compatible cable that has an e-marker chip on both ends and compatible with the Power Delivery Rev. 3.0 PPS (NOT PDO).

Some light reading on the subject:

Ive got a couple of these cables that I feel are ready for the fast charge speed. Its just a matter of the charger. Ive got the charger on order from Sammy which will take a couple weeks...

Be advised the standard Note 10 will only recognize charging up to 25Watts.

What about car chargers? I don't think they have one that's 25w.

I wonder how fast the inductive charging is? I haven't used a charging cable in years. I also wonder if it takes a designated plat of the Samsung fast charge plate I have now will still work.

I can't charge my Gear S3 on my Samsung wireless charger pad. We'll see if the phone will charge it though, I believe that the Gear S3 is the oldest model that is supposed to be supported.

Ive for the frontier which is the latest LTE watch i believe? 46mm. I think the watch is Qi enabled. My watch band is a link style band so its a challenge to fit it on the back to test..

I'm assuming the cable that comes with Samsung's 45w charger will charge at that speed.
I dont think so. The cables look like the same as in previous note purchases. In order to get that high of a charge the cable needs to to have the e-marker chip on both ends, and only a certain length. I think 6 feet is too long to ensure the spec, but don’t quote me on that part of it.

The cables are also limp and not stiff like the USB-PD/IF cables ive been using for other devices.

For those wondering,

The frontier gear watch will charge on the back. Ive a links style band and there is a tour style case on at the moment. Once i get the Sammy official military /rugged case ill see if that works but for now this will do just fine...

Quick video i just made....

I'm not seeing your video. Are you talking charging your gear watch on the back of the 10+? I have a charger cradle for mine here as well as at my cabin for my watch. my band is a one piece and will not lay flat on the phone. Fits great in the cradle however. But, to charge from the back of the phone is quite cool if that's what you are talking.

yep that is what he is talking about. it came in handy yesterday as i forgot to charge my gear s3 and had to use my phone as a charger for a bit.

That is certainly cool tech. I don't know that I would use the feature.. but I'm still wowed by it. :) I put an after market one piece band on my gear s3 day one. It's one that has a break over clasp. I hate buckling watch straps and have put that kind of band on my watches for years. There is no laying it flat on the watch back.

In review, not worth 50 for the 45 watt vs 25 charge speed of maybe 10 percent more. Just fits my needs. I am not a corporate employee requiring speed charging.

In the end to each his or her own. The 45 watt charger will fit my daily needs , and many others. It’s currently on backorder, so that speaks about its popularity..
