Help Can't activate Boost ZTE Warp Sequence!?!

I purchased a used Boost Mobile ZTE Warp Sequent on Ebay from a reputable seller. Boost says they cannot activate particular MEID DEC as it doesn't show up in their system. The phone boots up to a Boost Mobile logo. It says Boost Mobile in the upper right hand corner of the screen, and shows that it is receiving both a signal AND 3G. :confused: I love this phone, already bought accessories for it, and can't find another one at a price I can afford. I don't want to send it back if there is a workaround.

contacts, everything in the phone is set up for
Boost. Is Boost bending me over with no
reacharound because they want me to buy a
phone from them? I've been a Boost customer
for over 5 years. Is this how they reward loyalty? :mad:
 
Hi charliebrowns, Welcome to the forums.:) This happened to someone I know, turns out they were off by one number. Have you tried again? Look at the # carefully, write it down, check to make sure it's right, and try it again.:D

Yes, thank you. I started out at a Boost store, then customer service. No one can explain why they can't activate what is obviously a boost fone. Their facebook customer service people said they could help me but that was over an hour ago

Hang in there!! If its a Real Boost Phone, and I believe you, They will have to activate it.:D
 
huh, that is the oddest thing. unless it was reported stolen or its still active on another account there is no reason they shouldnt activate it. maybe the person just stopped paying their bill and it hasnt let go of that serial yet

also, check the sticker you are reading the info from make sure somebody didnt like peel it off a different phone and switch it or something
 
rooting cannot cause it to.not.be in their.system... they cant even tell its rooted from there. if they wont accept the meid your problem is with boost themselves. now if it just wont program itself thats a differebt story entirely
 
I just bought a ZTE speed. Wouldnt activate on the web site. Wouldn't activate by phone. Spoke to a human then the supervisor who told me that it is not a boost phone even though it says boost on the box and the instructions say go to boostmobile.com

aparently there is an issue with boost phones they either dont know about or are reluctant to discuss.
