How do I remove Auto Boost?

I have looked all through my phone and cannot for the life of me find where it is hiding to delete it... if this is a Samsung thing, I'm throwing this phone in the bin and going back to iPhone!
Can someone please tell me how to get rid of this auto boost thing??!!

It doesn't seem to be a Samsung thing because I'm having the same prob w/ Auto Boost on my LG V20 through my carrier, T-Moble.

Is it only Samsung phones this pop-up is appearing on? Although Samsung did ditch their Cheetah Mobile partnership a while back now.

There was Clean Master SDK that came on some phones, and it would occasionally show a 'Boost' or 'Optimize' rocket pop-up.

No, I've got an LG V20 & it's popping up on my device as well.

I've got it on my dinky little LG. I downgraded from an S10 and I had my info transferred over. Yet this did not happen on the Galaxy. Very annoying

This is NOT a problem with Samsung only. I think can affect all Android phones. I have a Moto E, and it is just as annoying as anyone above mentions.

I do not have a Sound Blaster Equalizer app. I uninstalled a "Translate" app with a Google (G) sign but chinese letters on upper edge of the symbol, and a "Bass Booster" app. So far I've had no more disturbance within an hour of rebooting. I'll update in a few more hours.

Did you download an app called "Facial Mystery" from Facebook. The app is not present in my phone, but I did a screen shot of the same auto boost and my phone recognized it was from that app. I typed it in the app store and it gave me the option to uninstall. I thought I did it the 1st time. Had it on my phone for almost a month! Hope this helps.

I had the same problem earlier today. I looked for an application with that Auto Boost name but I couldn't find it. Luckily I remembered that I downloaded a new application this morning (the sound boosting equalizer app) and I did the process of elimination by removing/uninstalling the only new thing I installed, and guess what? It worked! The annoying Auto Boost doesn't pop up anymore.

I suggest you take a look at any new apps you recently downloaded since this issues came up and remove it/them. It worked for me. I hope it helps.

Cheers!
Alex

Thanks for the clue! Seems like an app we may all have that recently updated, too. I had 69 apps automatically update so there would be no way to figure out which one was the culprit.

Yep, that was it! I had downloaded an app called Music Bass Equalizer. Uninstalled it and the Auto Boost crap went away. Thanks!

I have this same issue, the auto boost bs...I have not downloaded anything recently and it is super annoying. Not in my apps and can't find it on play store.

I'm having the same pop up and went and uninstalled all the recent apps I downloaded but that equalizer app wasn't one I downloaded. I just want it gone and don't remember when this pop up started. Please help

I noticed I was getting the same Auto Boost annoyance AFTER I downloaded a music amplifier. I uninstalled it and the Auto Boost went away as well.

Where does this auto boost com from? It never fails when i try to open a text or call, up comes auto boost. How do i get rid of it.

I still can't remove that auto boost. Or figure out where it came from. This is a new phone. One day old.
I haven't put anything in it. How do I remove it.

Im still waiting for 100% confirmation, however in my case, the Auto boost started after downloading "Powerful Flashlight app" . It appears there are multiple apps that have this feature attached to them. What is even stranger is I am unable to locate the app info via long press ; i am able to access apps and notifications under settings, then apps and notifications. Delete

It's amazing how many junk/adware/spyware vendors hide it in flashlight apps. Especially since these are simple apps, and the only permission they actually need is "camera" (which is needed to turn the flash on on many devices), which makes it simple to spot if they are asking for permissions that are not needed to do their task (which is generally a bad sign) and not install them if they are.
