Help HOW TO: Enable 850Mhz 3G Network Frequency on your Samsung i9000 Galaxy S

We have a Galaxy S Duos, operates on HSPDA 900/2100 and we are trying to enable 850 MHz to operate on both the Rogers and ATT 3G networks. We have done the Apn settings and get EDGE. We have tried the Service Mode operation, but there is no option to add * beside the 850MHz. There is no "Combi" option either. How do we add the * to the [1] WCDMA 850 if there isn't an empty [] to add *

Thanks for any help!

Hi I've just sign up to this forum and I have a question regarding the Samsung phones that in the descriptions for the 3G WCDMA frequencies only 850/2100Mhz are presented to be active, now this are the only 2 that can be used or the phone has all the frequencies but only this 2 are active and the rest of them can be activated following the instructions in this thread.
Did anyone tried on the new galaxy note 2 international models ?
Thank you
Paul

Hello, I am from Ethiopia. I have bought two huawe p8 lite mobiles with model no HAUWE ALE-TL00. I like the mobiles but unfortunately the 3G and 4G network is not compatible in Ethiopia ( ethiotelecom). Please help if there is a way to make this work.

Hi, CrazySte
I want to know. How to use the Samsung GT-I9003 Galaxy SL or not.

Samsung GT-I9003 Galaxy SL Specs. >> https://www.mobilesdetail.com/en/phone/samsung-i9003-galaxy-sl-tnf
Thank you.
couple of things first of @CrazySte last activity was 7 years ago...and has not visited this forum since.

secondly, this thread mainly talks about adjusting the 3g spectrum on a phone bought with european frequencies only enabled. this thread shows you how to enable frequencies for here in the US.

thirdly, are you asking how to use your phone? what part do you need help with? if you give us some details, we can help you better.
