I saw this on Twitter and thought it would be fun here. I wanted a poll, but I'm limited to 10 options. Feel free to reminisce in the thread.

It was #1 for me also.
I'm going with option one being the whole generation of Atari / Coleco Vision / Pong / Those weird keyboard things that were kind of like and Atari but sort of a computer too / etc.I don't see one for Intellivision
I absolutely had to have the Pong game sold by Sears. It was a major investment for me at that time.

Is there an option for 1/2? My first controller actually predates the Atari 2600. The Coleco Telstar was a pong-like game that connected to the TV via RF switch. Two people huddled over the console and controlled their on-screen paddles with the two knobs. If someone was a really bad loser, they could hit the RESET button in anger... and often did
