That Blu government phone doesn't do screenshots right any more. I know the standard way is volume down + power, but it isn't working. I got a screenshot app which can be a little tricky and shuts off if storage is running low. Why do screenshots evidently take up less room than regular photos?

AFAIK a screenshot is the same as the resolution of your phone screen, eg mine is 1080 x 2400 pixels. Most cameras shoot with much higher resolution so have a larger file size.

Do you not have swipe diwn toggle switches for Shortcuts and basic phone functions. Most have a Screenshot button. It may be in the overflow list which you can add by the Edit option, but I don't know Blu phones in general or if this is a special model.

It's special, all right. It's one of those government phones that should have sd capability but apparently don't. Maybe it would be harder for them to spy on people's sd contents than on "internal" affairs. Where are these toggle switches of which you speak?

I probably mean the Notification Shade thingy. Swipe down from the top of the screen. I'm sure you've used them before..

Mine is a little different to most as they copy Apples layout where you can swipe from the top left for notifications and top right for toggles.
