NCAA Men's Basketball 2023

I love college basketball and my favorite team is the Kansas Jayhawks... duh. Early polls have them ranked #1 which means nothing. Tonight they travel to play #17 ranked Kentucky Wildcats. It should be a good game that will be on ESPN in a half hour or so. I also root for my local university, Wichita State U, where I was a sysop on their BBS years ago and where my kids went to college. Do you have a favorite team?

i am a big UCLA fan. we have had some decent runs in the tournament the past couple of years. we lost some big time juniors and senior to the nba draft. this is supposed to be a rebuild year. we did land some top 10 recruits, curious to see how these freshman will play this year.

They may tear it up. Kentucky's freshman gave KU all they could deal with. Considering their big guys were all out, they would have kicked our butts if they had played. Freshman can be really good!

Been watching the Maui Invitational. Kansas beat Chaminade and will next see Marquette who just barely scraped by UCLA. Tennessee beat Syracuse and will see Perdue who beat Gonzaga in the other side of the bracket. The bracket is loaded with talent.

I have hopes to see Kansas make the finals. (a big hope) I have hopes that my local U Wichita State can just make it into the tournament. They look improved bun man they are a sad watch.

The dust settled and Marquette schooled Kansas big time. They made there shots and forced Kansas to play at their pace. Kansas couldn't seem to take care of the ball with the speed of the action. It was ugly to watch for a Kansas fan. It should open their eyes that they have a lot of work ahead of them.

late responding but I was locked out of AF... long story. Kansas still didn't look good in that game but was good enough to better Tennessee. Was a fun watch!

KU, though favored by 35 points, they only won by eight! Either Eastern Illionis is a lot better team than thought or KU has serious problems.

Teams that you wouldn't think be competitive just from a name standpoint are more these days given the transfer portal. I mean FAU was in the national championship game last year & I'm sure 70% of people have never even heard of them before.

My local U, Wichita State University, won their game tonight. Their record is now 7-1 but they haven't played a top 25 ranked team or a team close to being in that elite group. The team has improved over the last few years to a level where they are once again watchable. I seriously doubt that the program will get to revisit the final four game again. It's extremely difficult for a mid major team to get the recruits and transfers to have a top notch team. To entice a player to come to Wichita Kansas is also a hurdle. I will continue to root for them all the same.

UConn gave Kansas a good game tonight at Kansas. Kansas won 69-65 in a hard contested game. It was a fun watch. Rankings don't mean a lot this time of the season but it was #4 UConn at #5 Kansas.

I'm watching the Kansas Missouri border war game right now. Mizzou lead most of the first half but stalled and Kansas took the lead. Half time 41-29 Kansas,.

Tonight's lineup on ESPN has some top ranked teams playing. On now is #10 Baylor playing #21 Duke. At 8PM Central #11 North Carolina is playing #7 Oklahoma. At 10PM #4 Arizona plays Alabama. It should prove to be a good night of college basketball.

It seems the men's NCAA basketball season is passing quickly. Another week it will be March and then the big tourney. WoW! My Kansas Jayhawks aren't playing at the level they played last year and are currently ranked 17th in the polls. At least they will see tournament play. I hope your team will get into the post season action.
