Galaxy watch 4 - how to see text sender without scrolling

When I get a text, my galaxy watch 4 shows it at the bottom of the conversation. So if there are are previous texts in the the conversation, I have to scroll all the way to the top of the thread to see who the sender. Sure, sometimes it's obvious, but a lot of times it isn't, such as when it's a conversation that hasn't been active for a few days or longer. Is there any way to have it show the sender at the top of the text rather than the top of the thread? It does it if it's a group chat but not for an individual chat. Thanks in advance.

hmmmm on my watch 6 it shows first who the in coming text is, before showing the actual text. but even on the text it shows who is texting me. i think the same goes for my watch 3. i do not own a watch 4 so it might be different. curious what messaging app are you using?

The stock messaging app. If it's a group chat, it shows the sender with each message. But if it's a thread with just one other person, you have to go all the way to the top to see the sender.
