Oppenheimer was my choice for best picture, but I kept thinking they may give it to Barbie since it was so popular. Plus they showed Barbie & Ken a few times during the show and their music won as Oscar

i did not simply because of the snub for best director category. if it had legitimate chance of winning best picture, they would have also nominated Greta Gerwig for best director as well.

"Popular" is rarely the deciding factor in the best picture award. In fact Oppenheimer is unusual in that respect because it was one of the biggest films of the year.

I rarely go to movie theaters anymore because the screen and bright light trigger my migraines and If I watch something on Netflix, Amazon or Hulu it takes me several days or weeks to watch it because I get bored after a few moments, but then feel I need to defeat the boring movie or show by watching it.
