  • One idea b4 lookin into at all is that since .gif files are 8-bit wheras .png files can be 8-(i think) 64bit. Check out what size they use for the default shutdown animation...I'm wondering if since you converted from .gif to .png, samsung just needs a higher color-resolution to run the animation...whereas .gif only supports 256 colors. So maybe you trying to expand 256 colors to a "needed" 8million or sumthing that samsung is expecting

    Just a thought.
    Try to save the .png files as a higher bit-rate, like try 16, 24...64.
    yo im stuck on this shutdown animation shit i got this cool .gif pic and i seperated each frame and changed the .jpg pics to .png pics put the pics in the video/shutdown directory and it wont work cant figure it out figured maybe you could help.
