Just need to figure a few things out about Samsung development (it's a tad different) and then I can begin to cook up some ROMs.

That'd be nice - every day the OC max goes up by .1 . And I haven't had any trouble, but I installed the first one linked after seeing someone having issues with the second one. Plus I understand OCing and why it helps, but the voltage stuff I don't understand as much, so more nervous to get into it. But hey, first time I've OCed something, so good chance I'll learn more! And man, I need to get an avie so that ugly ? goes away.

Eh, with being either at home with my computer, or at work with my computer 98% of the time, battery life isn't much of an issue. Once I find a car dock I like (read: once I start looking for a car dock) I'll be good to go! Except still might consider one of those solar panel charge stations from ThinkGeek to satisfy the "be prepared for anything!" side. (Yes, zombie apocalypse is among the possible situations. So glad to have found that Lounge thread.)

I'm going to keep mine stock for a while and find out what the actual limitations are before I root or mess with anything. Well, stock running launcher pro anyway. Thank you though, I will check it out when I do root.

I am a rookie when it comes to rooting. I had the Vibrant, and the one click root was very easy to follow via video. (I have the Fascinate now) My question is, what would you recommend the best place for me to get good step-by-step instruction on rooting the Fascinate? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
