I've been trying to install Rom Manager for a few days on my S2. I've tried several kernals such as CF and Hellcats. Now, "CWM-initramfs-template" seems to be working OK but I'm not sure its the best. Does anyone know a good kernal that allows Rom Manager to install properly. I know one issue...

For some reason, CWM is backing up to my internal phone memory and not my SD card. Have you any idea how to tell it to change the directory or is it not detecting my SD card for some reason? Can I move the backup folder by hand?

I've seen lots of apps on the app market to change boot animations (I've got a nasty o2 one at the moment), but I gather that these don't work with the S2? If not, is there an easy method and a good place to get replacement boot animations?

Using Win 7 x64 (tried 2 different PCs), when I enable USB Debug mode on my Galaxy 2, two drives show up when I plug the phone in, but I can't open them (just the normal Windows 'please insert disc' error). Is that normal? Do I need drivers installed?

Coming from the iPhone world, I'm used to the option of automatic backups and restore of the whole phone via iTunes if I messed something up. Is there something similar for this phone? Is it possible to wipe the phone and put it back to day 1 as if it was new or does Android not suffer issues...
