If i tried to flash a stock rooted revolution rom on my esteem could it work for verizon if they would activate it?

Has anyone tried an app called geocam by wizar? It is a camera app that overlays a hud style gps over your footage. whenever i try record with it it gives me an error message. i can take screenshots but no video. Anyone ever got it working on the esteem?
