I have juice defender, task killer, screen at 60%. Every txt I send or read the phone drops a percentage in fact just about every task I do it drops a percentage. Help a brother out!!

Bought an AT&T HOX Rooted with cleanrom only. Couple of questions, I've noticed there's no software update tab under About, is this because the phone is rooted? When Jelly Bean is available how do I upgrade and will it get rid of the root and or cleanrom. Thanks.
