Spare Battery

Why do manufacturers release phones with removable/replaceable batteries then not make them available. Samsung and LG are guilty of this. Anyone know of a spare battery and charger available for my G3 now?

I've bought replacement batteries for my Androids in the past, but only because the original one "wore out" due to my less than ideal charging habits. To use to keep my phone going (like on the golf course using my GPS), I prefer something fomr this page:

I use their 8400MaH version , and could not be happier.

Just noticing that in the description of the 3 devices on that page I've looked at that none of them will charge the LG G2 and they don't specify the G3. Not sure why.

That does seem odd. It's just a battery with a USB connector, so it should charge anything. It's got a 500mA slot and a 2 A slot, and I've used it for both phones and my Wife's Nexus 7 tablet.

Of course it works on the G3.

This doesn't need to be said because it works on any micro-usb smartphone, with a micro cable. And any iPhone with an iPhone cable.

And why you don't see the G2 there? This was put out last year. The G2 came out in Aug the official release date...or Sept.

This is a prev generation

The new slim one 3rd generation looks real nice
