So I am hearing of a 2.2.2 update, but it doesn't allow root. However, I read someones post that they got automatically updated by connecting their phone to their computer. I wanted to ask if it's safe to connect my phone to my computer without getting automatically updated?

So I made a mistake and fell asleep while I was charging the phone one night. It was probably charging for about 8 hours or so. When I checked the screen the was a weird msg, I cant remember the text though. Is it safe to charge the phone overnight while I sleep (Like the Huawei Ascend)?

So, I have the Ascend now, but I am highly thinking about getting the Optimus M because it seems like an all around better phone. I have official 2.2 on the ascend, but it's still slower than an optimus and the no multitouch kills me in texting sumtimes. Should I get the Optimus M for 99 and...
