I attempted to root my phone today. After rebooting I checked and I had the SuperUser icon. I tried downloading Titanium Backup but it says it couldn't gain root access. When I try updating SuperUser it fails. I downloaded Root Checker and it says I'm not rooted. What could have gone wrong?

I got the Skyrocket last week and it's awesome but I have a problem. When I connect it to my PC my PC tries searching for the drivers but it fails to do so. It then opens an installation wizard that tells me to install a CD with the drivers. I downloaded the required Samsung Mobile Phone Drivers...
