got home from work to find my tf300 updating its asus firmware cant see any difference. has anyone else had this update?

I have problem with the notification bar, when i touch the clock the menu doesn`t appear. Also the icon of App lock and other apps have disappeared. After reboot the problem fixes itself but after i put it at stand by it appeares again.

Bought an USB adapter for the transformer. If I hook it up to the computer I can see the pad. If I hook up a USB 16MB stick to it I can see the stick on the pad. I'm I missing something. .
