Does anyone know how to boot stylo into download mode

Sorry for the noob question, but does anyone know how to mannually mount or remount (as the case may be) the external sd card as a different partition? (e.g. /sdcard2/) I have a T-Mobile variant of the Stylo (rooted, xposed)

So I recently bought another 64gb micro SD for my phone and I've used l2sd before and had no problems and I didn't mind partitioning the SD either. I just want to know is therethere any other app that does the same without having to partition some of the SD card?
