I've seen several other sites doing trouble shooting on this issue - LG G3 keeps restarting unless charging, but I kept thinking "faulty battery" isn't really the cause as those sites have stated! Why? Because my device won't restart even without charging in recovery or firmware download mode...

I got a system update pushed to my phone this morning and I'm not really sure what it did. It appears that the build number is the same, the software version looks the same, the android version is the same, and nothing really seems different. What did I just get?
