Hello fellow LG'ers, I am having a texting issue with my Optimus G, and I seem to not be the only one either. Basically, if i try to send a message, around 6 or 8 characters or less, it will almost always fail. Any longer messages, it's totally fine, but if it's just a "yeah" or an "okay" it 95%...

As the title suggests, what is the best way to root this device? I just got it, and don't want an expensive brick. Also, any way to turn on hotspot without doing it through sprint?

Wondering if anyone is using a different launcher and has been more happy with it's performance. I know on previous phones different launchers could make the phone more snappy and reduce screen re-draws and such. So if someone is using something that is worlds better than stock, tell us about it.
