Hey, I want a good and decent portable media player, but dont want a cellphone. There is a good deal on ebay for a droid charge,but it has a bad ESN so can I still activated without having a sim and use it like an ipod touch or galaxy player.

I just had gallery start up on its own. I did not start the app myself but yesterday my phone ran out of battery in the middle of the day. After checking the battery usage I saw that gallery was over 50% of the battery usage and about 50% today. Why would this app start on its own???
