There's an update available that will fix the sleep issue. This update has undergone extensive testing by many users, and appears to work quite well. It also improves multimedia playback (native support for AVI, DIVX, XVID).

Until Toshiba release a fix, for now, put the tablet into airplane mode before putting it to sleep, so far, that has been working for me. I came across this work around on another forum.
