I rooted my lg optimus one a few months ago and installed megatron rom. everything about it rules except for one very important thing. I can't connect my phone to the comp via usb anymore. the phone does not read the usb connection and therefore the comp doesn't do anything about it either. so each time I have to copy files onto my phone, I'm forced to put the microSD card into a card reader. the problem with this process is the risk of accidentally scratching my sdcard which has already happened once. please help. thanks.

Hmm, I tried doing that a long time ago and I tried it again now. Didn't work. Here are some other things I've tried --> I tried enabling USB-MS toggle in custom recovery and the computer recognized the device and installed it but nothing happened after that. Entirely disappeared. I have also tried reflashing megatron and it didn't work after that either. 
. Please help. If the sdcard gets spoilt again, I'll lose all my data again.
