Root 1:1 help needed; problem with ctmod

my phone is running so great and i make a backup in cwm at least 2 times a week just to make sure any changes i make that are good, are backed up and then even more if i'm trying to tweak something. so if you mess up can just revert back to where left off that was good!!!!

So an update. I removed Advanced Task Killer, but am still running Easy Battery Saver (or whatever it's called). I have a new keyboard and new launcher, both much smaller than my previous.

While my phone seems to be faster, anytime I'm using it, the battery drains quickly. It can go down 10% in a matter of 30 minutes or less, depending on what I'm doing (media and games drain at least 10% in 30 minutes).

I still have the black screen anytime I reboot.

Lastly, for now, I am getting literally no network (3G) signal on my phone when inside most buildings (especially work), and less than I used to when on the road. I used to have excellent signal at work and used Pandora all day. Now, I have nothing. This has been a problem for the last week or two. I'm trying to think back, and the timeframe correlates approx with installing my new launcher and uninstalling ATK. Any ideas?

The black screen still no clue on that. These phones really hog the power. Don't know what made it worse than before. Maybe the new launcher, might have less ram usage but more battery hog. As for signal, mine was bad for a while and now good, might be working on towers. If someone else has any answers chime in.

I think I figured out the black screen! I went into TB and saw that my launcher was saved on my SD card, so I moved it to internal storage and converted it to a system app. Voila! I did a backup and rebooted to a fully functional phone. Yeah, me! :)
