1+2 may have dual SIM, microSD slot

A still image allegedly taken from a OnePlus promotional video, supposedly shows a device that might be the next phone offered by the upstart manufacturer. The photo reveals a device that supports dual SIM cards and has a microSD slot.

If this is true (and it's a big if), I sure hope that dual SIM is an option since it would make developing custom ROMs nearly impossible.

I am not up to date on this but why would it make it nearly impossible?

Because AOSP is only for single SIM, so all dual SIM software is proprietary.

That seems odd to me. There are a good amount of dual SIM phones with up-to-date development over on XDA. I thought there was something added this year to make this easier but I could be very wrong. Does this link help explain anything?

Yep, You are correct. In March, 2014 CM started official support of the Moto X dual SIM, and other devices are being added, many with unofficial support. So this situation is only going to get BETTER. Thanks for the heads up!

I think Android M will support dual sim too
