1.5/1.6 vs. 2.1 Lets All Vote!!

Which Sprint Hero OS do you prefer 1.5/1.6 or 2.1

All things considered, Android 2.1 brings many features and refinements to the party over Android 1.5. That being said, it has been a painful update for many people.

I count myself as one of the lucky ones who has had minimal issues. Honestly, the worst issues I am dealing with now are repeating notifications, camera app battery usage, and some keyboard lag.
 
I am not rooted, nor do I care to be.

2.1 brings a couple of improvements, just enough to get my vote, but real close to getting a response of, "Who cares?"

I have had no stability issues before or since the upgrade... that to me is a key factor for approval of any version.
 
The biggest thing I wanted from 2.1 was navigation. 2.1 has that, and 1.5 didn't. Given the choice between those two, 2.1 is better for me. However, since you threw 1.6 into the mix, which does have navigation, I think I would prefer 1.6 (which I assume has all the reliability and speed of 1.5 + navigation).
 
I had 1.5 since January when I got my Hero, and I was dyingggg for 2.1 to drop. My phone would go EXTREMELY slow regardless of the number of apps I installed. It would work at an acceptable pace only after I did factory reboots and even that only lasted a day or two. Text messages severely slowed it down. I'm starting to notice the same on 2.1 however so I'm going to be using SMS backup more frequently.
 
I'm running Damage Controls 2.1 and I came directly from 1.5. Made a nice difference in my phone and it's been trouble free. It has nice features that all work and I'm very satisfied. I'm going to stay right here with the Rom DC v2.08.1.

Works for me and I don't have to fight the phone for fixes or problems.........
