1.6 to 2.1 is it worth upgrading?

Hi all,

Subject says it all really. I'm on O2 pay as you go in the UK if that makes any difference. Had the phone a year, no probs really.. what do I gain from moving to 2.1?

Thanks, W

A guy walks into a bar and orders a drink. After a few more he needs to go to the toilet. He doesn't want anyone to steal his drink so he puts a sign on it saying, "I spat in the beer, do not drink!". After a few minutes he returns and there is another sign next to his beer saying, "So did I!"

Dean, you've changed your post. Well done.

Just looking for a bit of insight really - rather than folks just saying upgrade because it's an 'upgrade'.

1.6 is laggy, is 2.1 better?

... actually, forget it; can't believe I got involved in such a boring idea. 'Shall I upgrade my phone?' 'no, you should do something worthwhile with it, like ring someone, meet them and socialise'.

Cheers

Basicly now the question really is do you want upgrades to apps to work, if so then upgrade because developers are stopping support for 1.6 because it holds the app back for people using froyo, gingerbread and soon ICS.
