Hi all,
The S2 is my first Android experience so I'm sorry if I'm asking an obvious question. I haven't had any success searching this.
Often when I send or receive a text message a "/1" appears after the contact name, and the name is truncated. I just sent one to, let's say, John Finch, and what came up in the message thread was "John/1".
Easy things out of the way:
-There are no other contacts with the first name "John".
-The "John" contact only has a single number, and no email addresses, IM contacts, etc.
In the "Contacts" section the names are appearing correctly - it is just in message threads. I don't know if this is correct behaviour, but does anyone know what's causing it and if/how it can be stopped? Thanks.
