1 Google Account - 2 phones? allowed?

A while ago I bought a Samsung Apollo i5801 phone, just to see what it was like, the Android OS I mean, as I was then using iPhones.

I liked it and now have an HTC Sensation XE. I now have a Goole account and have purchased stuff from the market.

So...
I have 1 Google account, which i'm fine with, but can I use this on both phones? i.e. When I initially set up the Samsung, it asks for a Google account. AM I ok to sign in on both phones with my 1 account and use the apps/games etc I bought on both phones?

I don't want another account as the Samsung is a spare phone/messy about phone.

By the way I'm in UK, my XE is used on 3 network, the Samsung is unlocked, currently has a PAYG Orange SIM in.

cheers

Yes, you can use the same Google account on as many devices as you please(i believe). I have the Verizon Galaxy Nexus, and the Xperia Play and have it set up on both currently. I also have the Sprint Galaxy Tab on CM9, and that is tied to the same account. So the answer to your question is yes, you may tie your Google Account to both devices.

You can have multiple phones/tabs to one phone. I do it.

But some apps only stick to one device like Co-Pilot GPS Navigation. Whenever I install it, I need to request a new license.

yeah it happens to me. I lost my samsung galaxy mini then later on I bought alcatel ot 918D and register it to my google account still samsung galaxy reside there together with the apps that I installed to that device.

Just food for thought. At one point in time, I had my main Google login tied to 16 devices. No issues other then when I got an e-mail. (16 "You've got mail"'s got annoying quickly.)
