Hey Goat, if you get the chance.. check out some of the Bee Gees prior to the Disco outbreak. Good stuff IMO

lol, yeah I have more than a few of their tracks in my library somewhere.

What younger generations have to consider (and I'll admit, I remember having the same cocky arrogant attitude) is that even though it's popular to rag on older media, some of that older "art" was an inspiration to some of these newer artists. An even greater realization, as the music industry has been around for quite some time, is that some of the artists that were inspirations to these new artists drew their inspirations from even older artists. I can't imagine what kind of flavor music would have if there was no Elvis, no Beatles, and hell no Michael Jackson. Love them or hate them, there was an impact made on all the new artists and there will continue to be an impact until our time as a species has been spent on this planet.

I'll direct you to Spirits Having Flown . . . not every Bee Gee song sucks. Actually none do, really.

Also, give a listen to Alone.

Sorry, can't stand them.

Oh, I tried. Back when they were still plugging their own ears during performances (well, one of them) I saw them several times with a girlfriend who adored them. When you have a girlfriend who adores an entertainer you can't stand, you fake it for them. It came out even, because I know she was faking liking my Lou Reed, Maggie Bell and Haircut 100.

Ahhhh not as bad as I thought! LOL! At least I am actually familiar with the song....

The "Le Freak" part is rather appropriate though.....
