Help $10 AT&T Data Plan on Vibrant?

I know that this question has been asked before, and yes I did the research. Mostly a lurker but I am on here quite a bit and have had account for a while.

Basically I am wondering:

- Does the $10 "dumbphone" AT&T plan still even exist?
- Will it work with T-Mobile Vibrant?
- Does it matter which Vibrant I get? I've heard from people (I think they are trolling), that I have to get i9000 to do this.. Will ANY T-Mobile Vibrant work with this?

I know people have been doing it I am just curious if it still works.

Thanks a lot in advance!!!

I looked around in my AT&T Account.. It seems that the cheapest plan available is actually $15 dollars and DOES exist. So #1 is answered

Please let me know about #2 and #3.

In addition, I'm in Family Plan.. Primary line WAS iPhone 4 (I sold it today, which is why I'm considering Vibrant).

Will they make a huge fuss about me not having the iPhone 4 anymore and all that. I'm currently grandfathered under $30 data plan.

Lastly, I'm in NJ/NY area, if that means anything

Thanks for any infO!!

You'll need to unlock the T-Mobile Vibrant to use it with AT&T. I was in a similar situation as you - I got the iPhone 4, sold it, and use the Vibrant with the iPhone's data plan. I'm not sure if it will work with the "dumb phone" data plan, although I don't see any problem with it. My friend has the old T-Mobile "dumb phone" plan that he had years ago for $5.99 (T-Zone or something like that), and he's still able to use it to access internet for his new smartphone, but this is T-Mobile.

BTW, you don't have to tell AT&T that you don't have the iPhone 4 anymore, but if they ask, you can always say it's broke and you have a different phone now.

Thanks a lot. Yeah I was pretty sure that it would work with unlimited data plan but in that case I'd rather get the Captivate to be honest it looks better

I wanna know if the $15 data plan would work.

Also if the Vibrant 3G works with NJ. Cause I heard only 850 areas won't work but 1900 would or osmething IDK
