100$ off from AT&T?

1 or 2 weeks ago i was looking at the atrix order page, and there was a 100$ off discount running if you had an applicable data and voice plan.. i checked again and i no longer see that there, does anybody else remember what i am talking about and if that deal has ended?

never saw that, but that would have been a good deal. i got my $100 off by using an add-a-line that had a super expired contract

I made use of that deal and yes it is no more there..
so I guess that was for pre-order (not sure though..)

You read it right as I also saw that offer page which said through April 1st (to be honest I din't trust that is gonna stay that long so order it on 13th itself), but I think ATT just got little greedy or may be that was there by mistake.
 
I just checked and I still have $100 off. 299-199 so the final price $199. Is that what you are talking about? It says the $100 off is good until April 5th I believe.
 
I pre-ordered mine for $299 7 months after switching back to AT&T for the iPhone 4. Now my wife wants an Atrix so I went through the steps to order online but it was only giving me off contract price. So I called them and all "Pamela" told me was that I received a Managers Override when I ordered and that they couldn't give me any upgrade pricing.

She was kind enough to tell me that I could "upgrade" to a 3GS for $349. I had to ask her if she was serious as I have 2 iPhone 4's that I am not even using right now.
 
if you have a qualifying plan (something like $60+/mo. voice + text + smartphone plan) you can upgrade once per year. and you get "upgrade advantage" discounts. i believe the longer you wait to upgrade the higher it gets. i got my atrix for $149 from the AT&T store with my $50 off upgrade advantage. I told them I would buy the phone on the spot if they waived the stupid bs $18 upgrade fee, and they did. Sold my Blackberry 9700 on craigslist for $175. Booyakasha. Unlimited data. Let the bandwidth wasting begin!


by the way.. ATT now has some new "feature" where all calls to mobile phones are unlimited. i think you need unlimited texting plan to qualify.
