1000mbps Bad Cable Modem

My 1000mbps internet service was down to 4 to 6mbps. I was ready to read the riot act to my cable internet provider. Did some testing and discovered my cable modem went bad. Never had a cable modem go bad before, Got a new cable modem at Best Buy, and it's back up to 1000mbps.

Curious which one did you pick up? They do go bad from time to time.

Not to hijack the thread, but I jumped ship and went to fiber. Now, I have synchronized up and download speeds. When I was on Comcast/Xfinity I used to purchase my own Arris modems. None were as good as the rental from Comcast though. That's been my experience. They always wore out.
