1080p Video out

Hi,

Is there any cable I can use so that I can connect my GN to a Full HD (through HDMI) and get the video (mkv, for example) to be played at 1080p?

Or do I need to buy a dock?

Regards

I think this phone use MHL adaptor, like others Samsung. I don't know if it will output at 1080p though, someone else will know.

You buy the MHL adaptor and connect it to the phone's microUSB port, and the adaptor need to be powered by another microUSB cable. Then connect the HDMI cable from the MHL adaptor to your TV.

This is pretty clunky in my book, compared to Motorola or HTC when you just need 1 cable.

Okay I just thought up a dilema for me. Since the MHL adaptor is connected already, the microUSB port is occupied, so I can't connect an OTG cable to the phone to connect the flashdrive that contain the movie, because the phone will have roughly 13gb of free space as I'm told, which will hold maximum of 3-4 HD videos. What a drag.
