I'm selling my Hero and right now I'm rooted with DC 2.08. I want to un-root my phone and set it back to out of the box as if someone was buying the phone from Sprint today.

well.. how about the one on the sprint site that upgrades it to 2.1... that would be how a new one would be out of the box.

Any official Ruu through Sprint or HTC will do, all will put you back stock and remove your root.

What OFFICIAL version are you running. If you were running 1.5 prior to rooting you can do the 1.5 RUU or the 2.1 RUU. If you were running the official 2.1, flash the 2.1 RUU.
