Help 12/11 manufactured phone...

Just got my girlfriend the triumph and miui'd it up for her and noticed she had a 12/11 model. I still have the 6/11 one. What would be the benefit of hers versus mines besides being the latest model?

maybe it came with updated apps but nothing you couldn't get on the older one.

From what I have seen/heard there isn't really any difference between different build dates. Later build dates MAY have better quality control, but that isn't proven either way, just conjecture.

Mine is 12/17, I ordered it from Amazon last week, got it last Thursday. Not seeing the problems that were mentioned in other threads about the Triumph's quality.

The soft buttons at the bottom of the screen do seem a bit finicky sometimes. I have taken the 2nd screen protector off.

But on the never model (after 8/2011) seems the GPS runs great, mine locks even faster than my old Optimus V, just over 3 seconds....
and after I put the CMod 7 the triumph works great...only problem as mentioned, sometimes the buttons are not responsive for 2/3 seconds

How about your autofocus for your camera. Is it working or do u hear a lil clicking noise and the camera locks out of focus?

the autofocus runs, not as good the iphone, but does the job, if you want i can make a video of the gps and autofocus

mine had a later mfg date as well but I still had some problems (very minor) like the white screen and the backlight bleeding on the lower left hand side. Other than very poor signal reception (which spills over to slow GPS, voice, data) I didn't have any other issues.
