CDMA users:

ROM is GSM Only! CDMA does not work, until further notice. Global/CDMA/GSM/UMTS modes are now enabled in mobile network settings, but CDMA still does not appear to work. Sorry!~

I could not have done this with without the pioneering work of Flemmard, who was the first to port a 3.0 kernel to HTC Vision, and also Evervolv, for continually providing support for legacy devices. Also, thanks to yotzag and Juansheng for numerous kernel patches.

Also, due to the lack of ram, running ram intense apps such as facebook will cause lag. Please take this into consideration when downloading apps.

You are free to repost this rom/kernel and modify it, but please post credits and/or contribute back to the source ;)!

Thank you for your great work, here reported some bugs.

With an incoming call (GSM) phone is restarted and is without audio and the virtual keyboard not respond and restarts on its own.

It is possible kernel for versions without sense, like CM/ MIUI/ AOKP, thanks again, very smooth

recording in 720 not working fine
 
What happens when you try and record 720p? Does the app crash?

If possible, could you send me a logcat? Many thanks!

And yes, the kernel will work for sense and non-sense roms. However, there are still a few small bugs I need to fix before i recommend you use it.
 
thanks for your answer, reinstall the rom with full wipe and delete old folders created by other roms, then I changed my old movistar chip and it works fine for now (the previous was Nextel).

I keep trying with the camera does not break the app, works well in the second recording, the first out lines and save on unknow format.

I will use this rom much longer, I like the camera for my family moments.

Wonderful work as always, sorry to insist please do not forget the kernel for not sense roms.

Thanks for your respone :) i'll increase memory for camera and hopefully it will fix any weird camera bugs. The default size for camera is 50MB.. but I allocated less because I want to give more memory for apps. and I won't forget kernels for non sense roms ;)

EDIT: found a bug where zram disksize is created too big.. (i forgot to convert between KB/MB), patch coming very soon for all fixes
 
I'm new to smart phones in general but I came across an old HTC Merge - unfortunately, I cannot play Clash of Clans on it due to my Android version being 2.2 ... Would using this or one of your other ones enable me to be able to play clash of clans?
 
Yes, definitely, although personally, I wouldn't play games on this rom since sense is a memory hog and running games would cause it to lag quite badly.

For now, I would recommend using my CM7 rom for best performance (I used to play real racing 3 alot on that rom).. that is until I release CM11.

@all: I realized overclocking doesn't work and is limited to ~800mhz. I've fixed it now and I'll be posting another patch soon. It'll also include interactive and conservative cpu governors, since ondemand doesn't really provide a smooth experience.

Your timing for this release couldn't be more perfect! I dropped my Rezound yesterday and broke the LCD, so I'll be using my wife's old VZW Merge while I wait for parts. This should fit the bill pretty well, can't wait to give it a test run!
 
Just a warning.. CDMA doesn't seem to work.. :/

I'll be posting some updates for cm11 in the upcoming months, if I can get the problematic synaptics touchscreen working.

EDIT: change of plans:
I'll be re-releasing CM9,CM10,and will worry about CM11 later... there's quite a lot of bringup work that needs to be done, and the ead touchscreen issue for CM11 is driving me crazy.

EDIT 2: change of plans again. The touchscreen issue for CM11 has been fixed... There probably won't be a release of CM11 until a few weeks later as I don't have my desktop with me.
 
Hi jianC, I commented, I spent many days and many others continued even taking photos and recording with the camera in 720 smooth, delicious camera :D

Yesterday try to make some calls and the phone froze 2 times, I attached the log if it helps.

Hi again, that's what i thought and uninstall the xposed and its modules, but the problem persists,

Call me by phone and freezes the device. To make calls there is no problem, only to receive them.

I know what you are talking about now. I did more testing and I know the problem is the proximity sensor since I have exactly same problem with kitkat (making calls darkens the screen, and then freezes). Sorry about that, I will upload a patch as soon as possible.

EDIT: I fixed the issue (patch, but dev-host is down right now and I don't have the old boot.img to repack, I will upload as soon as it is up again.
 
It is not necessary to apologize, on the contrary thank you for your work that I appreciate very much, I ll wait until the patch.
 
Here is the fix for freezing on call: signed_Patch_003.zip - 4.12 MB

Also the patch *may* fix wifi issues, and random dead touchscreen on boot (this happened quite a few times to me actually). Fixes for those issues are also included in the patch.

@all: By the way, you can enable trace keyboard settings by going to -> Settings -> Language & Keyboard -> (Hit the settings button) on the right side of "Touch Input" -> Trace Keyboard ;)

edit: I've noticed that google play services sometimes causes the rom to lag quite badly on startup. A temporary solution is to disable the service in settings -> apps -> running services, and the lag will be gone, even when the service restarts.

Hello, I have no problem with the audio, listen to music with headphones very often and without problems, use the phone much in speaker and heard music also in speaker and everything was normal, thanks.

I look forward Cyanogen 9 with the new kernel and Camera in 720 :D

Ah ok, I've just been spoiled by my htc vivid then :P

I'll be releasing cm11 very soon.. i have my build server back and the first builds are promising. So far, the only thing that doesn't seem to work is camcorder. I know where the problem is but don't know why it's happening..
 
Hello, up to the moment I have not problems with the rom is mild and the use a lot of the camera and video

What i had not noticed is the consumption of the battery, for example, if you use close to 20 minutes playing video battery is exhausted

When not using the device for nothing and is resting, the battery is drained alone in 6 hours, with the previous load roms lasted much more.

I will look into the issue. Did the battery get much worse after the patch, or has it always been not so great?
 
I did some testing and even when overclocking at 1.2Ghz, and moderate usage (Internet browsing, Texting, FB Messenger, WiFi, 2G data all day, etc) from 9am to 10pm, my battery is still at 46% on this rom. The only difference is that I am running a slightly different version of the rom with some png optimizations, but that shouldn't really matter. I may have overlooked something as usual, but could it be one of your apps that is causing high battery drain?

Hi again, I use a few applications, mostly email and SMS, did the test with 9 cyanogen and battery to 100 %, from 01:00 until 09:00 hrs the battery was at 64 %, but with this rom sense in those same times the battery is discharged.

Ideally, you should test with a rom non sense.
