FIRMWARE RELEASES: firmware files, benefits and bugs for the Flytouch2 v2 /Superpad 2

This post is intended to keep track of firmware releases, known issues and known fixes. Please post comment on any additional firmware that you have tested for this device that is not listed, also any bugs or fixes that have been missed. NOTE: These links are not provided by me, but have been tested by me.

20110221 (Supposed Offical Manufacturer Firmware update #2)

Renamed Phone.apk and TelephonyProvider.apk (battery drain?) NOTE: If you use 3g USB card, you want to rename these back to normal or 3G wont work.

Removed unnecessary apps bogging up the rom and draining the battery, as they can be found in Market now: (Skype, google voice search...)
Internal storage mount with noatime (Supposed to increase disk access speeds)
Changed the default wifi driver for the most stable one (without ad-hoc support)
Added a Gscript entry to switch between the Wifi Drivers (AD-HOC support Versus more stable wifi and 802.1x PEAP support)
Added a Gscript entry to activate back the Telephony apps (needed for 3G stick support)
Added CCplayer
Fixes issues connecting WiFi over PEAP
Issues:
Some users (Including myself) still report slow Market downloads & synch.
I also experienced delays in internet requestes, eg browser. (I think the WiFi updates caused all my problems, I had no WiFi issues previously)

Fixed SD issue not showing up as mounted in Settings
Changed the default wifi driver back to the official 3rd release rom driver
Added GScripts to switch between the 3 wifi drivers: adhoc, official 3rd release, dutch rom V4 (= same as Official Beta RC_V4.9)
Removed extra google apps to rollback like in version Tim-2b to see if it helps the slow down issue that a few are experiencing

All filesystems are mounted ext2 instead of ext3 with noatime set - basically, journalling is a huge performance hit on flash/nand.
Youtube App now included
More sound fixes - still not perfect, but improved (Sound appears as load as Tim's ROMs now)
More app compatibility fixes
Terminal App now included again
Issues:
Some apps fail to install unless you remove the sdcard.
Titanium Backup crashes when I try and restore apps. Apparently some issue with root. Use z4root to reroot your deevice.

Choose the firmware that fixes the issues that most annoy you!

REMEMBER: Back up your device before doing any firmware updates! And ensure it is a Flytouch2 v2 / Superpad II that you actually have.

have tim's 20110410 loaded on mine at the moment pretty stable and fixed a good few issues regarding sound, android market , colour display, youtube etc, it shows up in the settings as version 20110326, but ill edit that if i have it wrong im in work at the mo. ill add more updates as he releases them.
