Accessories 1600 mAh battery for DHD. Is it worth buying.. ?? Need help plzz.. !

I've always been disappointed with 3rd party batteries unfortunately, they last no more than the stock battery.

Roughly how long are you spending on calls and how many texts? What's the average display time in battery stats?

If you're spending an hour or so a day on calls and 50-70 SMS, that would be classed as pretty heavy usage actually. 13-16 hours is pretty good. Is this your first smart phone?

What's your screen on time?

Yes buddy, this is my first smart phone and I didn't get u, when u asked me about screen's on time. I am amateur at this terminology. Hope you wouldn't mind clarifying it to me.
Thanks a lot dude.. :)

Regards,
K.Sagar.

No problems clarifying anything. :)

Battery life on a smart phone is much less than that of a "dumb" phone unfortunately.

To find your screen on time, go Settings -> About Phone -> Battery Use -> Click Display. That will tell you how long the screen has been active for.

It shows 1% and in details the "time on: 2d 22h 6m 26s". I have rooted my phone and currently I am using MIUI rom. Does that effect the battery.. ?
Thanks dude,.. :)

When you rooted your phone, did you calibrate your battery? Really easy to do (there are plenty of free apps on the market that do it for you)!

The 3rd party batteries are poor from what I've seen. I did just buy one of those New Trent battery packs that was recommended on here in another thread somewhere. Basically you charge the little pack and then when your battery is low you connect it to your phone via a small cable and it'll charge your phone from 0%-100% in about 2 hours roughly. It should carry enough power to charge your phone 3-4 times on one battery, rated capacity for the one I have is about 5000mAh.
