Help 16gb Card

Hey guys, thanks for the space! Very helpfull information!
I got my Ascend last December from Metro and I have a question. If I buy a 16gb card my phone will be faster? Thanks for your time!
I can run about 100MB free of internal memory on the LauncherPRO Plus but want to make the phone faster and the last thing I haven't done is upgrading the SD card.

If it's a high speed xfer rate, then, yes, running stuff off the SD card would be fast, but SD cards are not technically RAM...it's flash memory like a USB flash drive...it's just storage, not RAM

I have titanium backup....can i just get a new card and the information will be transfer or I need to go back to Metro in order to have the card backup for me? Thanks again for the quick response...

Just plug the phone in via usb, open the drive, and just copy everything to another folder on the computer, and when you get your new card, just open that folder on your computer, and copy and paste everything back onto the card. You don't need to have metro order it. Any MicroSD will work.

I did something wrong about a week after I got my phone, I formatted my card to get rid of something(can't remember what it was), but when I plugged the usb cable into my computer, my computer couldn't open the phone as a drive, saying the os wasn't recognized, and my usb debugging kept saying that the card was mounting, and unmounting. I got around that by unmounting, and ejecting the card, plugging the phone into my computer, reinstalling the card, then clicking on pc options, opening that, then everything was fine. The huawei logo doesn't appear, but I can open my files. I want to fix that, and install a 16Gb card, and have the comp recognize it upon plugging it up. any suggestions?
