16GB MICRO SDHC Class 10

Hey everyone,
I want to share that yesterday I both a 16GB MICRO SDHC Class 10 from Frys for $32.99 and believe me the phone feels a lot faster (no freezing). There is 2 different 16GB class 10 for sale for less than $45.00 at Frys.

Your SD card shouldn't have anything to do with apps freezing. That's a damn good price for the SD card though.

That was the cheapest class 10 I was able to find available to buy in stores. What I meant about freezing is that after the 16GB class 10 all apps seems to have a quicker response to commands. I have my phone running with about 100MB of free internal memory at all times and things were fast already (because I keep the phone as simple as possible); but I notice the increasing in speed after the larger memory card upgrade.

It's probably all in your mind since SD cards are flash storage, and not RAM

Actually... I had a slower "unclassed" and moved angry birds over. Didnt work so well. Upgraded to a faster card and it performs much better.

Same concept as for computers buddy! Faster hard drive...faster tasks right? Off course the processor has things to do with the unit overall but more memory makes the difference as long as your apps are storage at the card.

if the card is fast, yes, of course apps will run faster, but it's not going to speed up the phone in general....that is my point, and no...even if you have a fast hard drive on the computer....having low ram will just cancel it out.... however, if you have 2GB+, and a decent hard drive... of course you will notice a speed increase, I am not saying SD won't speed up apps that are on it, but it's when ppl claim their phone in general is faster because of the new card is wrong.

Oh man, reading fail on my part. I thought you meant you had 100mb of free RAM floating around on your phone, but I guess 100mb of internal mem is cool too.
