Accessories 16gb

It has been discussed several times here and the consensus it yes you can.

However, you will still not (for the moment at least) be able to install applications to the memory card.
 
i can confirm that the sandisk 16gb sdhc microsd card works. there's nothing special that needs to be done - it works out of the box.
 
16Gb cards work just fine with android as is.

I was reading somewhere that the android OS works with "simulated" cards up to 128Gb. Though that dosn't mean the G1's hardware will alow it.
 
yep.. never heard of google.. i was wondering what that was.. that gmail thing on my g1 phone.. thank you for the link on the 16gig..
