16gig Backordered?!? will that affect preorders? :/

the play store shows 8 gig is in stock but 16 gig wont be available for 2-3 weeks do i hsve to wait that long for mine?

I think it depends on when you pre-ordered. I pre-ordered mine the day of the keynote and it is now sitting in my apt office waiting for me to pick it up.

Well, as long as you ordered before the 13th, the next big deadline that Google has given is the 19th for shipment of the 16gb. To be honest my excitement is wearing down. There is no thrill of the chase anymore, just get my dang tablet shipped by 11:59pm PDT Thursday

When did you order?

By the end of day on July 19 (PDT), we will have shipped all standalone Nexus 7 16GB orders placed through July 11 (PDT), and upgraded these orders to overnight shipping.

Thanks stridermt2k, I congratulated you in another thread as I saw you got a shipping notification already. It's just the way AF works. We were/are all in the same boat waiting for our N7's. I'm passing the time and maintaining my excitement through the success of others until mine arrives.
